In response to:

Time to Scrap Labor Day for 9/11 Day

John, I don't agree with this. Making 9/11 into a holiday would turn it into a day of hamburgers and hotdogs and get togethers. The uninformed citizens of future generations won't even know what happened on 9/11. I'm 60 and I seriously know young people the age of my daughters who do not have a clue about Dec. 7th. When it's mentioned that it's Pearl Harbor Day, the puzzled look appears. The way we are acknowledging 9/11 seems to be working. The solemnity of this horrible and sad day (both 2001 and 2012) is refreshed every year, hearing the names of the poor souls that perished, the moments of silence and the tolling of the bells. Let's keep it this way ... just my honest opinion.
This is a great article! For over 4 years now, I have muttered silently a four letter word that ends with "K" at least 10 times a day. It just was never in my language or thought until BO was elected. Now you have given me a substitute that can work for me ... "Bite Me!". The next time a lefty does or says something typical of a lefty, I will have the proper response and I won't feel bad. It's perfect!
Librtybell, you are the one who should wise up. Your statements are wrong and just an excuse for what is really happening in America. Obama won because the people that voted for him think they are entitled to the fruits of my labor. I just want to be left alone. I make a living and taxes are taken out of my salary. These taxes should be paying for the national defense. BO and the State Dept could not even take care of 4 Americans in Benghazi to take care of them. Yet, BO is promising all thing to all people. He is a fraud and YOU will suffer under his administration. On the other hand, I will survive because I have never needed anyone but myself to take care of myself. YOU ARE DELUSIONAL ABOUT OBAMA!
Colleen63, your statements are 100% correct!
So happy with the VP choice of Paul Ryan. Finally, we will have to discuss the fiscal cliff that our country is perched on. Paul Ryan is the best man for the job of explaining it to the American people.
He was the best president in my lifetime and I'm 59. Loved our country and NEVER bowed to dictators and enemies. Treated our allies with respect and did not fear our enemies. We need another leader like Reagan.
