Yea when I was in the military we always worried about offending...NOT- we survived and wore the uniform and proudly served the USA and loved our country and respected our differences and never worried a second about what belief system was in operation with people as long as they were good at their jobs, worked hard and respected others. We didnt live in anxiety over a different belief system- I wasnt a Christian at the time and I had guys witnessing to me many times and I was NOT offended in the least. Good grief GROW A PAIR!

The U.S. Army is directing troops to remove a Bible inscription that a vendor etched into the serial numbers of weapon scopes, Fox News has learned.

Soldiers at Fort Wainwright in Alaska told Fox News they received a directive to turn in their scopes so the Bible references could be removed.

The scopes were made by Trijicon and referenced New Testament passages in John 8:12 and Second Corinthians 4:6. The verses appeared at the end of the scope serial numbers – “JN8:12” and “2COR4:6.”
