there's an estimated 60,000 gays serving right now - I left the military about a year ago and, thoughout all the stations I was at, I've met dozens upon dozens of gay soldiers - many of whom were the best of the bunch! Let's get as many people in the service as possible

I couldn't agree more - as conservatives we cannot talk about making a smaller, less intrusive government that allows us to be individuals and then on the other hand advocate for legislating one person's morality on all of us - that's what the christianists do
