I did however, have the extra money to spend an extra $10 to buy a shaver made in the Netherlands instead of one made in the PRC or just plane China. Would have bought one from USA but couldn't find one. Thanks unions.

Maybe all prices would drop sharply, if the excessive regulations all business comply with were severely reduced.

Who would mind paying $150.00 for an electric razor so long as we knew it was made in the USA by union workers making $40,00 an hour, gettiing free health insurance and a generous pension plan?

Here's an interesting story from Friday regarding sales at Walmart that just came my way: Wal-Mart Executives Sweat Slow February Start in E-Mails.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. had the worst sales start to a month in seven years as payroll-tax increases hit shoppers already battling a slow economy, according to internal e-mails obtained by Bloomberg News.
