I seem to remember Ford paying his workers far above the standard wage of the day so he could get better workers and he shortened their work hours so they could be more efficient. Part of his voiced rationale was that his employees should be able to afford the products they were producing. But as these workers were not unionized the union THUGS won't ever admit that.

I was looking for comments about the good and bad that goes along with being represented by unions.

Still looking for comments, and now want them even if you don't have a union.  

Personally I think unions are outdated relics of an age that belong more to Stalin than to Dickens.
