The republicans are not going to change and so will generally continue to lose important elections. None of the leadership is truly conservative nor are they honorable men. Look how quickly they fall away from conservative positions and start talking about doing exactly what they criticized the democrats for doing. My conclusion is that they are a lost cause and I was wrong to support Romney. I will no longer do so. I'm going to support the constitution party. Their platform is the constitution as written and as intended. All true conservatives should give them a look. http://www.constitutionparty.com/

I supported Ron Paul in the primary season. When I saw what the Republican party did to him, I predicted they would lose the election, which they did. I could not in good conscience vote for Romney. So I cast my first-ever vote for a non-Republican candidate, Virgil Goode of the Constitution party. The election was no surprise to me, but at least my conscience was clear. I do hope the Constitution party grows and becomes viable, with their principles intact.
