Republicans have to really wake up and smell the left stench. Right around the time of the RNC a mapped showed Romney winning big and after the convention he was strong in the polls. That's when the left wing media saw trouble for their home boy YoBama and they hit the ground running. Since then they have flooded the airwaves and print media with titled polls and their left wing spin. If YoBama looses Chris Matthews will personally barricade the Oval Office and refuse to let Romney in, screaming "That's impossible, we had it rigged" the whole time. And read the handwriting on the wall. As all their Pollbama's show the anointed one in the lead, when Romney wins, watch out. There will be lawsuits and mischief galore.
Freedom of the press, now THERE'S a right we can do without. They're not free; the left wing media are all galley slaves chained to computer keyboards on the SS OBAMA being whupped on by Valerie Jarret!
And when I say that he'll work on his redistribution agenda read: a lot more federal spending, a lot more debt, and a lot more regulation.
This President is lying. He had a golden opportunity to tackle the economy his first two years in office. He had both the House and the Senate. And he wasted it on his Healthcare bill. He has an income redistribution agenda ("remaking America") and he has other things he wants to do. If the Republicans keep the House and/or take the Senate he'll blame the lack of progress on them, because HE WON'T WORK THEM, the man doesn't have a moderate bone in his body. So he'll focus on his redistribution agenda through unconstitutional and regulatory means and ignore the economy.

And just to expand on this idea, I read a world history book and discovered that men think the world is flat, gays should be locked up or executed, and John Kennedy was a pathetic womanizer and drug addict. -- Wait, you mean these are half truths taken out of context? You mean I went looking for specific facts to validate my own point of view and ignored larger truths? Boy, I bet I'm the first person ever to do that. Duh!!!!
Exactly. There have been 5 Republican administrations (or pieces thereof) since Roe vs. Wade and legalized abortion rolls on unabated. It's the same as if Paul Ryan had said that if Obama is reelected we'll all be wearing blue work uniforms and living on communal farms, (which is far more likely now that I think about it). That sad reality is the number of Democrats who sat at the convention listening to Fluke's moronic ramblings with their mouths open like hungry birds. What a shame that THINKING isn't in the Democratic platform.
The only problem with liberal apoplectic rhetoric is that they never have the facts to back them up. That's why no liberal Democrat should ever be President, because they lead with their emotions and don't think things through. The end result is that they do a lot of damage that Republicans have to spend years fixing.
This election is a clear choice. On the one hand is more government, less liberty, but less responsibility. On the hand is less government but more liberty and more responsibility. The obvious analogy is life itself. We come into this world with lots of government but little liberty or responsibility. As we mature we strive towards less government but more liberty and more responsibility. That is the choice before us. Will we be a nation of needy children or mature adults?

I have always believed that truly great leaders can, at need, at least feign humility. Bush the younger and Clinton were both very good at it. Obama cannot even pretend. He has been told over and over again how smart he it. His only problem is getting his head through the door. OF COURSE HE'S A JERK. He's arrogant, selfish, rude, and really pretty boorish. That's why he does fluff radio call in shows. Tons of adulation, no challenge. Just answer which color M&M is his favorite and how he does his college basketball bracket. This is our President. Vain, selfish, and truth be told, really not all that smart.

Has anyone else noticed that whenever there's a Romney add the picture that is shown when Mitt says, "I'm Mitt Romney and I approved this message," is always Mitt and Ann? Whenever it's an Obama commercial, at the same point it's always Obama by himself. Obama's trying to prove John Donne wrong. He is an island. He doesn't need anyone else to ruin this nation. He can do it all by himself.
What I am saying, and you folks really do like to pick at gnats and miss the bigger picture, is that maybe instead of throwing in the towel on this battle and exponentially increasing our national heartache, that we change the tactics. Let's get rid of the "free to be you and me" generation and go back to extolling responsibility as a virtue. I am so tired of hearing "you have to love yourself first". Drug addicts put themselves first. Do you think that when drugs rule their lives that they really love themselves at that point? Let's teach people that how their lives intersect with other DOES matter. That it's not all about them. Then maybe we'll have much less of a drug and alcohol problem in this country.
