Once again, this is exactly the point. Democrats, specifically the President, stayed on message through the election. Soak the evil, greedy rich and give their money to everyone else. Republicans walked away from their core message of fiscal responsibility and it cost them. They never clearly articulated quintessential Conservative values. It cost them the election.

C736 You're correct they walked away but they still could not have won with over 50% of Americans on some kind of dole from the feds who bought into the Demo baloney that Romney was going to cut them off. If only tax payers could have voted then it would have been a land slide for Romney. But the food stamp, Medicade-medicare unwed welfare mother's vote counts just as much as any hard working tax payer. It may have even been different if the ID requirement had been in all 50 states.

“….throughout this election I discussed with students the differences between ideologies. The majority of them are on federal financial aid. They are fine with more taxes as long as they will be taken care of.
