While I don't care for this administration or the Clinton's general, I won't celebrate a US diplomat being treated in this manner. Darn that was hard to say! That said, we need to take this as a valuable lesson and ask ourselves why are we providing them military aid? Granted the military is in charge right now and they are "the lesser of the two evils" but our tax dollars are being thrown down the toilet. Sooner or later, the MB will take the reins of the Egyptian government and I would like to know will our government continue providing foreign aid?

Protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade on Sunday during her first visit to Egypt since the election of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi.

A tomato struck an Egyptian official in the face, and shoes and a water bottle landed near the armoured cars carrying Clinton's delegation in the port city of Alexandria.
