I don't think you need to worry about Texas going blue or NY, NJ, or MD going red. The area of Philly where those 2 scary black guys showed up in 2008 is predominantly blue, anyway. The area's in play in PA are more rural and suburban. Ohio and Florida, those you can worry about, since their voting procedure continues to be a circus and since both states have swung back and forth recently. I'm pretty sure, if we're losing sleep on Tuesday night it's going to be Florida and Ohio that are going to be causing it.

California has net positive contribution to the federal government, receiving only .87 cents for every dollar they pay in. Red states tend to be the ones that receive the most from the Federal Government compared to what they pay in. Look it up. Texas, Nebraska, and Arkansas are the only red states that receive less than they pay in.
