All citizens should post this article to their Facebook pages. "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's..." 2 Chronicles 20:15 God Bless what's left of America !

The Loss of Trust

This also should go for the National News Media. I believe that we have a flaw in our Constitution : as long as we have a Power of the Press that is protected by the Constitution, we will always have a problem of that press lying to us . Like our elected leaders, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." ALSO, The notion of "politically correct", that is promoted by the liberal left, has cowed the American public and is further promoted by the corrupt National News Media. Sadly, our current Media has shown that we can't live with the absolute Power of the Press and the past history of the US leaders shows that we can't live without.

Risky Business

IF an insurance co. would falter, there are always (at least in the past) Ins companies willing to step in and buy the failing co. Why, because it is a ready-made supply of customers. Of course, the reasons for failure are still there and the new company will have to : cut staff, raise rates, etc., etc. Basic safeguards to the existing customers will allow for the new company to pick-up where the failed company left off. One of the biggest problem is , as Dr Sowell was saying, differences in state regs . Why try to work in a state that seems to want Ins companies to fail.

I still support Aiken, but hopefully, we can get past this and other Pro-Lifers will STAY OUT of this MINEFIELD. Just one example of the problems : legitimate vs "illegitimate rape". You cannot explain the meaning without "stepping in it". Don't even try. The rape issue is too charged. As always, think before you speak. AND, as always: God's Will be done.

When I first heard of this fiasco, I was wondering WHERE was the official Pro-Life response ? I am a 35 year veteran of the Pro-Life movement. Back in the 1970's , Dr John Wilke spoke to this issue directly. The question is this : Why do "some" women have a lower rate of pregnancy from rape than from "every day" sex ? The statistics show that this is a fact : Some women DO have a lower rate of pregnancy. The reasons are still not so clear. One theory is from Dr. Wilke. The theory is that the Trauma from the very event will sometimes cause "some" women to have a hormonal shutdown. Possibly as a defense mechanism against this attaching foe. Whatever the reasons, this is a MINEFIELD that Aiken should have stayed out of !!
