Identify "the members of the Jewish Lobby"? Who are these "dangerous" people? If you have no answer, you're wearing a tinfoil hat. Heck, if you GIVE an answer you're probably wearing a tinfoil hat.

Netanyahu "deserved" 29 standing ovations and you admit you do not know what he said?

Did you actually write that?

Herman BB, how naive and gullible can YOU be???'

Even if there is a Jewish lobby it is minimalized by the Islamic lobby, the Enviro lobby and you can pick dozens of others. Who in their right mind WOULDN'T have a lobby in a government that kowtows to them?

Speaking of which, there is no christian lobby, don't see you crying crocodile tears for that.

Netanyahu has done more for this country than our current president. HE deserved those standing ovations and I dont' even need to know what he said to know this. Our president was given teh nobel peace price on the ASSUMPTION he'd cause world peace. He was elected president on the ASSUmPTION he would heal the divide. He was given votes for healthcare passage with nothing of it read.A boor.

Once again, identify "the members of the Jewish Lobby".

Are you saying our country should not be in solidarity with the number-one military and economic power in the Middle East? That would be strategically stupid. Now, if you say that Israel should receive no foreign aid, I would agree - ALL foreign aid should be eliminated from the budget.

That being said, would you deny that it is a wise strategic policy to stand with our only ally in an important region of the world?

As to, "If someone discovered the complete cure for cancer and spoke before Congress how many standing ovations would they get?"

That would depend their speaking ability. Netanyahu is an outstanding speaker. He articulates American values better than Obama does.

How naive and gullible can you possibly be?

Even Jews don't deny there is a Jewish lobby. They just think it should be called the Israel Lobby.

Netanyahu gave a speech before Congress a year or two ago and received 29 (yes 29) standing ovations.

If someone discovered the complete cure for cancer and spoke before Congress how many standing ovations would they get?

WASHINGTON -- Former senator Chuck Hagel is a suave, energetic, spirited fellow. He is intelligent, and from his early youth apparently patriotic and undoubtedly courageous. He showed that in Vietnam. Hagel has been a Republican senator and an accomplished businessman. Now he is President Barack Obama's nominee for secretary of defense. Because he is President Obama's nominee for secretary of defense he is attracting dutiful scrutiny, and that is all to the good. This is not your ordinary presidency. In domestic policy and foreign policy President Obama is showing every indication of attempting to be an epochal president (with four million...
