Krauthammer: Gay Marriage Case Could Lead to 'Assault on Religion"

Many Christian believers sometimes struggle with doubts, or have crises of faith. Many atheists do not struggle with such doubts about their beliefs. They are the ones who are comfortable with allowing believers to "continue in their fantasies", and they don't bother to challenge people of faith. There are other atheists who are plagued by doubts about, "What if there IS a God?" or "What if Jesus really DID die for my sins?" or "What will I do if I someday stand before God to give an account for my life?" The atheists plagued by doubts are the ones you see posting comments on the internet antagonistic toward people of faith. These doubters are clearly miserable; pray for them. Happy Easter.

To doubt is perfectly human. It's the persons who refuse to doubt who are frightening and ridiculous.

BS. You are just trying to shut us up because you don't have any rational arguments. By "people of faith", do you mean the fundies who try to impose their Bronze Age nonsense on others?

I don't know, I'd rather think that atheists are total materialists ("if I can't see it, I don't believe it"), or they're hostile toward people of faith because of something that happened in their past. Of course, some may very well have been brought up that way, too. I hear many atheists are former Catholics, too...

I'm an atheist and I'm happy as a clam. Who are these people who are "clearly miserable"? Where are the ones who are "plagued by doubts"?

If you atheists were as happy as you say you are, then why do you go out of your way to make religious people miserable?
