Blacks who embrace the conservative ideology are not looking for white acceptance. We are looking to improve our communities through capitalism. I think many people on this board believe that blacks care what they think. Oh, on the contrary, I think many whites need to think about how their permanent interests have not been met by officials who favor them about 90% of the time.

As a highschool teacher, I always cringe when they publish the scores for standardized tests because I wonder if anyone ever does research on what the terms mean. For example, I see people celebrating when it is reported that 82% of a highschool scored at the basic level. According to mandates such as No Child Left Behind, this is something to celebrate, but if you look at it a bit closer, what does it mean to be basic. Basic means that your children are getting a PARTIAL understanding of basic reading and writing skills. Notice how the term, mastery, is hardly ever used.
