Sowell is exactly right about culture being the defining point about differing groups. Many immigrants of all ethnic groups, legal or otherwise, have assimilated into the traditional American culture, many have not. "Diversity" notwithstanding, it is desirable to encourage those we welcome to adopt our culture. A nation of diverse ghettos, each with its own culture resembles nothing more than a tribal land with all the unpleasant problems inherent. It is not a nice place to live.

Every day there are more ways for us to die. If the GE corn doesn't get us the sharia muslims will lop our heads off or the North Koreans will EMPact us or the Wall Street cronies will collapse the system. It would be nice if we could pick our poison, eh?

There are many ways to become rich in this country. If your education didn't teach you how to take advantage of the opportunities, you got cheated. If your education taught you to be bitter and hate the rich for being rich, you are a sucker! If you learned it's a bad thing to be rich, you are a fool!

Cain is the most dynamic and upbeat candidate on the field right now. He has plenty of knowledge and confidence and great ideas, and doesn't buckle under when attacked by the vilest of liberal interviewers. The guy has guts and a gritty reality about him. I don't give a damn what color he is, the more I see and hear him, the more I like him! If this is racist talk, then call me one.
