The Southern Poverty Law center and Morris Dees are more in kind with the New Black Panther Party than they are with mainstreet America. If there is a more un-American group besides the ACLU, I haven't seen it in all my 67 years.

..elections are all about numbers. Those numbers can be arrived at via several means. Elections have been won simply because the base of one party stayed home or voted in such low numbers they were incosequential. Elections have been won by energizing voters that traditionally have been non-participants. There are a lot of ways to get the numbers you need to prevail. Most important you have to have a message that resonates across most demographics.
I suspect that as African-Americans become more assimilated into the mainstream, they will come to recognize that being blindly party partisan is not in their best interest. Look at how long and hard their struggle has been since the Civil War and yet they have very little to show for...

Bring home all our troops everywhere and place them on our borders with "shoot to kill" orders to regain this nation's sovereignty. Screw the rest of the worlds limp wristed dependents.

The GOP has been shedding base supporters faster than Joan Rivers has been shedding wrinkles. It seems this pundit, like so many others, thought the elctorate was not paying attention to the morphing of the GOP into Liberal Lite. Wrong! You just were not paying attention to our paying attention. Right now the Tea party movement reflects mainstreet America's total dissatisfaction with the whole lot inside the beltway. When the sweeping is finished, which may take a few years, then the faces that make up the current GOP leadership will be just a memory in time. They had their chance to do what was right. They blew it, BIG TIME!!
