Sex and the Military

Liberalism destroys everything it touches. Everything. Now it has attacked the most powerful force for good in the world. When the USA is economically and militarily strong the world is a better off. You have these liberal imbeciles that have altered the dynamics of our military. What idiot doesn't know that when you put males and females into that proximity you create sexual tension? Then on top of that, you inject open homosexuality. We are talking about the military. The people that go out and put their lives on the line for the sake of our country. People that have to concentrate on doing their jobs and making it back alive. Now they have to worry about the sexual proclivities and offending the person next to them. Might as well make them all wear dresses and take away their weapons.

There is no substitute for common sense and procedures in place that have worked for centuries. However, something has happened that has replaced common sense. It is called liberalism. Our leaders have seen fit to use the military as an "experimental organ" of the body of government just to see how it plays out. Sort of like injecting a lab rat with certain substances to see how it responds. Liberalism attempts to replace morality, not guided by a sense of right and wrong, but guided by a sense of its own perspective of fairness. It fails, then it is necessary to pick up the pieces. At great costs.

Meanwhile, Al Sharpton is in New York City protesting "stop, question, frisk" policies of the NYPD as racial profiling. It does not matter how steep the drop in violent crimes has resulted from the "stop, etc." practices. Liberals want to go after anything that doesn't square with the way things are supposed to be, even when that anything is reality.

"Now they have to worry about the sexual proclivities and offending the person next to them."

So is it your contention that they should not have to worry about their behavior and should be allowed to act as their primal desires dictate? Yes, having women in the military is needlessly complicating matters. But that doesn't mean soldiers should be exempt from having to behave themselves. It sounds to me like you think it does.

WOW!! Did you ever miss CG's point. I would try to explain, but based your comments I really doubt you would understand.

World class stupidity and ignorance about the social interactions of men that you know nothing about!

I'm sure I have a difficult time comprehending how you believe men in the military cannot and shouild have to control themselvs.

I'm afraid you live in a dream world. Believe it or not, due to American culture, discipline in the US military is not what you see in the movies. What % of a commander's / leading chief / first sergeant's time should be spent trying to control sexual politics? It's time that takes away from the mission.

Current answer is between 4 and 6 hours a week, every week (up considerably from the old one hour a month). With some forty years with the military, between sexual politics and all the other PC stuff it now takes at least three people to do what we used to do with one.
