Well, there is one thing I agree with.....there is no "rational" reason for Christianity. God is more than rational, and our finite brains cannot fathom it. So, the fact that we cannot rationalize Christinaity is really the argument FOR it. For the rest of your points, here is counterpoint: equality of all citizens under the law - already HAVE it. To deny that is intellectually dishonest. protection against discrimination based on sexuality - ditto. It's part of the law already. provide stability to homosexual relationships and families - BS. There is ZERO proof that "marriage" provides familial stability. the divorce rate is updarwds of 60% nationwide. enable gays to benefits, etc - BS. It's already been offered, ala Civ. Unions.
2 - The only way we could be "hurting" that little girl is if her 2 mommies or 2 daddies are determing how much THEY love her based upon how much they are accepted by society at large. If they love her, euqally and unconditionally, then their life circumstances will have no bearing on how or whether the little girl gets hurt. Again, nothing but emotional immaturity and intellectul dishonesty from your side.
I, at first, thought your post must be meant as satire....but I think you might be serious. Even though there is nothing even remotely resonant of cognitive thought in your post, I wanted to respond anyway. 1 - Your label of "bigot" is so tired it's actually irritating. It is nothing more than an emotional trigger meant to checkmate people with whom you disagree. The truth is the right to marriage is equally provided already, in the constitution. Meaning....there is no right to marry. It's a societal norm, determined by....well, society at large. There can be no label of bigot, for disagreeing on something that the majority of people do. It's called a Republic dude. Majority rules. Sorry, but that's life. Cont'd
So, B_S (wow, did you plan that?) I have to take umbrage with your contention that to disagree with the homosexual agenda means you are a homophobe. This blithering of the highest order and I am pretty sick of being told that I am AFRAID of something simply because I disagree with it. If you're going to come on here and preach (and you have, for the most part, done it well) then you should probably stay away from insulting the very people whom you are preaching to. Maybe try and understand what WE'RE saying and not just lasered in on your own voice. P.S. - I don't fear homosexuals, I simply don't want to be told what I should believe and what I shouldn't.
Don't tell my wife........but I think I love you! :-) That is dead on right. Sing it Jennifer!

Adam Lanza's heart told him to kill 20 people in Newtown. James Holmes; Jared Loughner; Dylan Kliebold; John Wayne Gacy; every abortion ever committed; every death sentence carried out; female genital mutilation; stoning; the Russian pogroms; Pol Pot; the list goes on and on and on and on and on. ALL of these things were a result of someone' "heart" guiding them. Beyond your obvious disdain for anything related to the Bible, can you actually refute what Mr. Prager actually said above?

Yes.
Petition was the wrong word. Commitment was probably a better one. I think I stated pretty clearly that it would be a call to action where everyone actually DID something. But, hey, I don' have all/most/almost any of the answers....wide open if you have a better idea. As long as we stop with all the GD whining and pi$$ing and moaning about how unfair it all is.
Rather than coming here to whine about how unfair it is and those goshdarned evil meanie poopie head liberals don't respect our viewpoints, we should try something different. How about, Mr. Bozell, you actually use your bully pulpit to do something besides complain? How about you get a petition signed by 5-10 million conservatives who are willing to NOT watch anything on any of these networks and then we actually DO it. See what happens to their ad revenues when we all stop watching their sitcoms and dramas and late night talk shows and we all tune into BBC America for the next 60 days. So, Brent, buddy....what are you going to DO with your position of influence? Gonna be a whiner ALL your life?
" It's unbelievable that Dr. Gosnell's trial for his actions inside his "house of horrors" haven't drawn one network story." You know what's really unbelievable? The fact that you think this is unbelievable. Every week I see a "new" story from Bozell "infoming me" of some heinous infraction committed by the progressive left. Or a story rife with hypocrisy and conspiracy to silence the evil right. All to no avail, Brent, me boyo. In what way has the MSM changed because of your hysterical tomes? How many MSM followers have been convinced to change their information sources? All of this silliness should not surprise us anymore, it should resolve us.
