IMHO this debate has devolved into a meaningless discussion about labels.

What is important is the degree to which our leaders are statist as opposed to supporters of liberty.

The exact flavor of statist is not important - they are all bad; all end in tyranny and misery.

Since he's under attack for allegedly being a covert socialist, you would think President Obama would get some love from the overt socialists. But they sound about as enamored of him as Sean Hannity is.
