Down at the Chinese outlet store in Albany known as Wal-Mart, Chinese tires have so successfully undercut U.S.-made tires that the Cooper Tire factory in that south Georgia town had to shut down.

Globalism vs. Americanism
Our current corporate tax system punishes exporters and rewards importers. The FairTax would not tax exporters AT ALL, while taxing all sales (domestic and import) equally so that we do not run afoul of trade agreements.
The FairTax would make the USA a manufacturers' tax haven. We have the best workers in the world. Get rid of idiotic taxes and onerous regulations and we'll prove it.
Having people be responsible for their own health insurance would also help a lot - expecting our employers to take care of it, even into retirement, is idiotic.
