Mexico has been corrupt for two centuries due to the United States causing internal distress with the Mexican culture which left on it's own would be a thriving first world country, peaceful, wealthy, egucated and a good will ambasador to the world. The war between the Mexican government and drug cartels is still raging with the war's latest victim being female Mayor Maria Santos Gorrostieta, who was beaten, burned, tortured and dumped for dead on the side of the road. Before being killed, Gorrostieta had been attacked twice by cartels for daring to challenge them. The third attack they waged on her, was her last.
