Also, kids have a choice in eating school lunch or not. At the end of the day, it's still a choice of parents and kids as to what they put in their bodies. Schools (and chefs working with those schools) are merely trying to make sure that kids have the most healthy choices available. The lunchroom is a classroom, and there are fantastic lessons to be learned here. Drrisk2, what's your suggestion to this issue?

President Obama’s legacy may be that he successfully forced schoolchildren to eat less meat and more vegetables.

The school lunch regulations championed by his administration, and in particular First Lady Michelle Obama, take effect next month and they have schools and parents scrambling.
