God is not there to serve us or make us happy. God is not there to make His plans fit into ours. God has His own plans, and these do not necessarily coincide with our plans. When things go wrong for us, when tragedy strikes us, it is because our plans, even though not evil, did not fit into God's greater plans. God's plans always have priority over our own.

As the F.B.I. and Department of Homeland Security sift through the collateral damage in Boston, one thing is abundantly clear: it was an act of terrorism. Questions, like who is responsible and their motivation, remain to be determined. Along with those questions, one cannot help but ask where God is during events like this.
