Finishing my thought below, the world did not end and we will not incur more debt. They Republicans will of course get blamed but over time the anger dulls. When the fed's have to cut the waste eventually people will become neutral about the whole thing except for the liberals who will not get paid. By Summer 2014 the Senate and President will not be able to argue the end happened and then will be willing to deal. My hunch it will be sooner than that. All the house has to do is keep passing a budget and force the rest of government to follow. Best defense is a good offense

Republicans need to stand for something and start defending conservatism not apologizing for it. Whether we’re talking about economic or individual prosperity, conservative policies work. When Presidents Reagan and Clinton cut taxes, government revenues increased and economies boomed. When babies are born to married couples, their chances of succeeding in life grow exponentially as opposed to falling into a life of poverty and crime, if they are born to single moms.
