After Election 2012: WWBD -- What Would Breitbart Do?

What I propose is we begin building brief, coherent, well-documented arguments supporting the conservative view: e.g. how the western civilization and the US in particular became the exceptional culture that they are (or possibly were at this point), specific lies and doublespeak by politicians and members of the media or higher education, et cetera. Once we have amassed a reasonable amount of ammunition, we visit liberal websites and insert appropriate comments in the different threads. Remember, our goal is to educate, not to insult and not necessarily to even win arguments.

Good plan. Properly implemented, that could reach many of the people watching the mainstream media. As you say, that is a good starting point for reeducating those citizens, but we also need effective plans to reach the millions of young people who are immersed in daily propaganda in our educational system.

As a starting point, what if we help fund an organization such as the Heritage Foundation to put together a coherent series of 30-second tv spots which explain the history and thinking behind our founding?. No politics, just the bare-bones facts.

It's not the liberals we must reach, it's the low information voter who assumes that the country will be OK if it runs on autopilot. Long-term, our K-12 education system must teach civics and the obligations of citizenship What "We the People" really means.

Start by reading D. Pragers book on "Still the Best Hope" and Mark Levin"s last two books. Much of this education has to start in the home, especially in raising children who have an attitude of gratitude instead of entitlement. The Spanish speaking generally are conservative but their lack of language skills and understanding of our values impede them from teacning their children at home. They came for freedom not for freebies, but their children have been affected by popular culture and "educators" who instill leftist ideology.

Many of us woke up the morning after the election in a daze and I imagine quite a few of us thought, okay…we lost, it is a new day…WWBD-What Would Breitbart Do? None of us can speak conclusively for him, but many of us were so deeply influenced and impacted by his leadership that in different ways his ideas live on inside of us.

Just before he died, Andrew called for a true vetting of President Obama, something that simply did not happen in 2008. Though he did not live to see it, many people led the charge and dozens...
