Nonsense. Man is not inherently good and only outstanding good will overcome evil. Theologians call it total depravity for a reason, without the saving influence of the Spirit no man seeks God at any time. Only real Christians are salt and light in the world influencing the total populace to love and good deeds. Salvation is by grace (grace is unmerited favor from God) threw faith (think of the faith you put in a chair you sit in daily) in Jesus the Christ (meaning the Messiah) and so it is faith that overcomes the world.
