Charles is gracious, as usual, not wanting to call a liar a liar or make specific incindiary comments. But, given the huge cost, the risk, the lack of any real political gain with this slam dunk of a trial and not knowing that it is a definite red herring to pretend the world needs an education re: our fairness.....this leaves only the misguided hope that revelations of Bush era misdeeds will give this dying admin a much needed shot in the arm.
But I think they are very misguided. The net effect will be negative reflections on them as they take a huge risk of MUCH greater damage to the admin should terrorism occurs and as the insulting KSM get his stage.
