I think that you are saying what Pat Buchanan has championed for some time... It is so sickly perverse that the GOP has allowed corps to leave so as for greater profit--under the now stated guise of escaping overregulation and admittedly high taxes.....but they are not to be faulted as their no. 1 job is to maximize corp profits. It is our bought and paid for "representatives" who have aided and abetted. Look for some new blood, perhaps out of the tea party kettle, to emerge. That is the essential modus operandi now required....someone needs to champion games as these--reveal the complete detail for all to see. When the game is made clear...the deceit and shell games...can we start to end these blights. The desperate corner we are headed towards requires honesty and toughness. Consider this a very open declaration of war on this country from this diseased administration. It is also a very clear slap at the most successful of the red states, one which will not take this lying down. Look for Congress to answer very soon with salvos of their on....this will be open warfare until this little boy is sent home as the disgrace that he is--it will be prior to 2012. I totally agree with your scenario....it will be a resignation for health reasons, probably...I would not even put cocaine out of the picture. We face a huge reworking now. The massive shift back to our old tried and true values of honesty, hard work and respect is going to be difficult vs. the social tide as exhibited by our current media and inculcate in the youth today...not real optimistic for the long term but will go down swinging :)

Charles is gracious, as usual, not wanting to call a liar a liar or make specific incindiary comments. But, given the huge cost, the risk, the lack of any real political gain with this slam dunk of a trial and not knowing that it is a definite red herring to pretend the world needs an education re: our fairness.....this leaves only the misguided hope that revelations of Bush era misdeeds will give this dying admin a much needed shot in the arm.
But I think they are very misguided. The net effect will be negative reflections on them as they take a huge risk of MUCH greater damage to the admin should terrorism occurs and as the insulting KSM get his stage.
