The GOP narrative for the next four years is going to be "blacks and browns voted democrat because they want free stuff". This will sell books, increase tv viewership and radio listenership but it will not translate into votes, nor will it make any inroads into these communities. And I suspect I'm not the only person who realizes this. And that begs the question: are movement conservatives more concerned with saying and writing the types of comments that rally their dwindling base than they are with winning elections?

If you're truly down and out and desperate for work a good place to start are day labor places and temporary agencies. You may still be able to qualify for government benefits if you're not earning enough to make ends meet but it's a much better step in the right direction (toward independence) than these government sponsored workforce centers.
