GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — In a story Jan. 17 about a court ruling on North Carolina's 2011 abortion law, The Associated Press reported erroneously in the headlines what the judge found unconstitutional. U.S. District Judge Catherine Eagles invalidated requiring an abortion provider to describe to the patient what is displayed on an accompanying ultrasound. The story also erroneously described state Rep. Paul Stam, R-Wake, as the House majority leader.
