Now having just seen it. The movie Looper could have been a catalyst for a copycat killing by Adam Lanza, looking in a school for his own "Rainmaker".

Here's one for you the AR 15 that Lanza had was locked in the trunk of his car all he had on him were 2 pistols so where did all the shell casings come from that were outside, almost 200 casings to be sure. The AR-15 had not been fired.

what else the lame scream media leave out.. Lanza stole all four firearms.. four felonies. He was underage to carry a handgun in public.. two more. Carried a concealed handgun without a opermit.. two counts. Violated the Federqal Gun Free School Zones Act, four counts.. transported firearm iwtiih intent to use in commission of a felony. four counts. Some have also said that Bushmaaster was not legal on Conecticut, another felony. This list does not include the murders he committed.... each a felony.

SO.. what planet does Feinstein occupy where there is any hope passing MORE felony violatioins into law would stop perps like Lanza?

It happens probably nightly. A citizen fights off a criminal in order to protect his property. But it doesn't always make the nightly news. In this case it did.

How much easier and safer would have been this takedown of a punk in New York City if the clerk had been equipped with a hand gun rather than just a vodka bottle?  How much less of a burden to the taxpayer too, who will now have to incarcerate the criminal?

And just think of chilling effect it would have on criminals if shootings of miscreants during crimes like this were on the nightly...
