This is not a white/non-white issue. This is the result of the teachng of no personal responsibility. It started with Clarence Darrow's defense and has become a social attitude.

Tea Parties vs. Hard-Left Protests

wow..thanks...good one.
I don't go to the grocery without my gun. Probably 40-50% of the people are "packing" and the country is safer for it.

Remember, guns don't kill people, guns protect people. :-)

Have a safe day.
We plan to go to the tea party near us on Thursday with our flags and signs. If anyone hits me, they will get shot. I have no intention to be a willing victim and this is too important to be intimidated into silence.
I'm a 65 year old woman and I target shoot regularly.
Violence is not the first choice, but as our revolutionary roots tell us, it is sometimes the only choice.

After Massachusetts: Now What?

The American people are punch drunk from the assaults on liberty, state's rights, freedom of choice that have been hitting from every directon since Obama was elected. This administration doesn't wait for the crisis to take advantage of it...they create them daily and leave people dizzy from the number of battles to be fought.
We were totally unprepared for a Prsident who doesn't play by the same rules, doesn't have the same love of country doesn't have the same goals for the individual's success.
We have been bitten by a viper, ensnared in it's coils and are in a battle for our very life. If America goes, the beacon of freedom is extinguished. Where would people go?
I agree with our assessment of combining the liberterians and conservatives into a party called "The American Party". I think the platform would attract the centrist Democrats...and I would see it basically following the 9-12 points from Glenn Beck.

As for liberal and conservative, the scale of measurement is how one values the government vs how one values the individual.

Individual freedom is risky and messy but the conservative trusts the basic good of the individual to prevail for a better and safer society. The liberal has no confidence in that premise and wants their collective values imposed on everyone...except possiblly themself when they discover they have given up all of their personal liberty.
