I sympathize with your lack of a local photo lab that processes E-6, but your laments are a bit exaggerated. The film world, Kodachrome excluded, is GROWING again. There are still dozens of labs that process C-41, E-6, and black and white on a daily basis (especially in artist-heavy L.A. and N.Y.). With an over-abundance of digital gadgetry, today's youth are growing tired of LCD screens and all forms of digital data. Schools like R.I.T. and Brooks are putting wet darkrooms back in to their schools and making them required courses again. I want to add Apple Stores. Having been in a number of them the employees (not on commission) have always given me great information and guidance on high tech purchases. The Genius bar is amazing at solving my problems too. Way to go Apple!
