Yesterday, our neighbor came over for a visit, and said she had just been to a Tea Party meeting, where the members were saying that if you vote for Romney--yes, Romney--then you were going to hell. I don't know the reasoning behind such an assertion. On another note, I say that the Tea Party had good reason not to endorse Romney, but it was for none of the reasons they listed. Rather, Romney supports the NDAA of 2012, which authorizes the president to have the military arrest and imprison American citizens without a trial. This an unacceptable position for a supposed conservative candidate. The position is practically the same as if Romney said he supports the authority of the FedGov to seize all firearms without a warrant.

The Tea Party News Network has released their endorsement editorial just four days before the 2012 presidential election. Their choice? No one. The group is strongly opposed to another Obama term, but remains skeptical of Mitt Romney, despite knowing he is the best choice in this race.  The trust but verify approach is being taken towards a Romney presidency.
