If Senator Rubio is serious on helping the Latino underclass then he should stand up to the powerful political and business interests in countries like Mexico, instead of making the American citizens responsible for all their impoverished and uneducated people. How is this going to help them and us in the long run? This law is not compassionate. It is ruthless against the American citizens, the American workers who would find that, due to Obamacare, businesses would prefer to hire the amnestied immigrants. It is also ruthless against the illegal immigrants who are promised amnesty and eventual citizenship in exchange for their votes for Leftist Democrats and their hard cheap labor for the special interest businesses that fill the coffers of the Republican National Committee. Who wins? Who loses? Only the upper echelon elitists in government and business. For more, go to: http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/56254
Emotional? Is that what you call facts? Is that what you think of the incredible suffering and devastation Cubans have suffered under the monstrous Marxist Castro regime? Amazing that Americans still don't understand what has been going on just 90 miles from us! Yes, the writer omitted Cruz Sr. was imprisoned during Batista regime but he never joined the communists back home, choosing to stay in the USA. I was part of the Pedro Pan program that facilitated the escape of over 14,000 Cuban children from communist indoctrination and a life of misery. God bless Senator Ted Cruz! And yes, hope soon the Castro brothers join Hugo Chavez in Hell.

So you are counting me as a commie? I came from Cuba as a teenager via Operation Pedro Pan, leaving behind my family, friends, school, and everything I knew just to escape communism. I agree with this article because I am a true conservative. Marco Rubio is a "Bushie", not a true conservative. He is also a politician who has never done anything else in his life. Is this what true conservatives really want? You need to learn facts. I live in Florida and I am an American of Cuban descent who happens to know Marco Rubio better than most Republicans.

I agree with you. Marco Rubio is too young and inexperienced. It worries me to see conservatives make a rock star out of a politician. And Marco Rubio is a politician; he is not a Tea Party person. Marco had been in the Florida House for years and he has always wanted to be involved in politics. He was supported and helped by Jeb Bush. Marco Rubio has no executive expertise and never was involved in business. He is eloquent but ask yourselves: what has he accomplished in the Senate? I am getting tired of seeing him on TV and just wish he would spend more time working on getting Mitt Romney elected, instead of promoting himself. By the way, I am also a Cuban American living in Florida and a conservative Republican.
