Let's compare Biden's "Smart-Donkey" with W's "a-hole" comment of a NY Times reporter, Cheney's "F" bomb on the floor of the Senate....

Then, let's compare all of those with Nixon's foul-mouth, racist, Anti-Semitic, bigoted comments that he KNEW were being recorded.

Yeah... you Republicans have cornered the market on civil discourse.

Stopped by whom? I, too, am a proud blond, and I have never been stopped and asked to produce any documentation outside of normal customs/ immigration. ((Sadly, I haven't been carded in decades!))

I have no experience similar to yours, and I stand by my opinion that this is poorly disguised racism and scapegoating in the worst form.

Since I have already taken my family to the Grand Canyon, I have no need to ever visit Arizona again.

EVERY Republican will vote again her. She will, however, be confirmed and serve 30+ years.

Deal with it.

I never like Arizona before this law was passed. If I want to live in dry heat, I'll move into my oven.

That said, this law is a ridiculous waste of time that grandstands to the worst element of our society.

To all those politicians, up for reelection this year, who claim it forbids racial profiling, I'd like to ask how many blond haired/blue eyed "suspects" will be asked to produce papers.

Men who can't/refuse to cry at appropriate times/events end up with a stomach full of bleeding ulcers and lots of empty scotch bottles.
After reading the transcripts on the military recruitment ban, I have come to the conclusion that Sessions et al have lied about Kagan's behavior on this one.

So, what else have they lied about?
Not exactly... If you actually take the time to read the decision, you'll learn that the opinion clearly states that the club can indeed exclude applicants it deems unworthy. The decision said that in order to receive funding from the University, any club must abide by the University's policies. I think this decision is more than fair to all parties involved.

As the Mom of two, I read this article as a silly diatribe against anything that isn't mainstream "Family Values" as defined by the party of such great men as Limbaugh (4 marriages) and Gingrich (3). Would you "allow" your child to serve God and country in an inner-city soup kitchen or perhaps in the Peace Corps? Probably not...

The 'Elusive' Truth About Kagan

Liberal? Having followed the hearings with more than casual interest, I'm not so sure that Kagan is the screaming liberal people like Bozell would have us all believe.
