Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
As I do honestly believe that Iraq had/has WMD as I believe the Gulf War Syndrome is a fact. I read enough letters about it in my former job.
Is there any possibility that these kids have been hit with Sarin gas or something akin to it? I do hope TOTAL AND COMPLETE autopsies are being done to rule out and outside cause of this abhorrant behavior.
I don't buy it that "nice" kids turn to games like this to build "camaraderie". They either have deep seated psychological problems that were not picked up when they entered or there is a possibility of outside interference.
It's possible.
And...
Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
I do tend to go off subject. lol I'm not about to debate whether or not animals have souls or not, even though it is a temptation!!! Truly a fascinating area for discussion. However, I'm honestly strive to keep my beliefs out of my comments.
Let's go secular and agree that homo sapiens is a higher order.
You maintained you made no comparison.
Please tell me, then, why was the word "like" included in your initial outburst?
Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
It is just this type of thinking that must be guarded against. Not all who are in our military are indulging in this.
Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
Good Lord, I defined the boys trying to get under my blouse when I was 10 as the game of Trust and rejected it in all its forms then.
These kids need to learn common sense. YOU DO NOT PLAY WITH GUNS. Period. They are used to defend oneself. And to kill. On occasion, one goes somewhere it is permitted to test your accuracy as a sport and a skill. NEVER DOES ONE PLAY WITH GUNS.
Find these kids and get them out of harms way! Put me in the service. I may be weak, but I know the purpose of a gun, I know that I am to protect myself, my buddies, etc.
I know that I represent my country while in the service.
Are these kids insane!!!????
God help us all.
Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
I am a product of the 60's, 70', etc. I was born in 1955. Take it from there.
I remember the draft well. And, guess what? I think it should be reinstituted also. And I believe it should include women. However, I maintain that women can perform limited duties as a general rule.
Discipline, working in a group, not being treated as an individual, how to handle arms, how to defend oneself, are all good for the young to learn. I'm sorry I didn't go into the service as a young girl.
Yes, I agree that we need to bring back conscription. Israel has the right attitude on that one and I think we need...
Marines Killing Themselves In The Name Of "Trust"
Ah, words.
Apparently the other Marines present shouted "ND, ND".
This is absolutely an indication that they are taught concerning rules and ramifications.
Every being present, who was aware of the "game" being played, now has to be charged with contributory negligence.
And, the sad fact is, one may not have even been aware the game was being played.
Hard to prove if one wasn't aware, isn't it?

What rocket scientist came up with that one?
Even if I translated it as "let the stars decide or lead", I'd look to the heavens; not to Hollywood! (yeah, a little joke. hahahaha)
I'm tired.
But I'm even more tired of the Supreme Court and their very novel interpretations of case law. And their novel interpretations of the Constitution.
There are NUMEROUS bad decisions that have been made by the Supreme Court. Let's not let yet another one stand to muddy the waters. No wonder we wound up with Roe v. Wade! And no wonder it just didn't make any sense to me at all when I took Law 1!!! ...

What rocket scientist came up with this one?
Even if I were to translate Stare Decisis as let the stars decide or lead me, I'd look heavenward, not to Hollywood! (Yeah, a little joke there!)
