We harbor no love for Jack Lew..should be in prison for his dealings with Citi-group with the rest of the Hank Paulson/Geithner gang. And the POTUS could play muni's, fly coach on Southwest and move into a convenience walk up apartment, if he was working at Mc D's that is..The perks Mr. Hanson despises go with the job of leader of the free world..let him be despised for his failures but not for the trappings of his position.

sorry, chap, you'v missed it. WHY does this Pretender in Chief berate the "rich" then live like one? Didja miss the parting shot in the article? The pigs in Animal Farm pan the humans, then imitate them? This guy spends MORE public money on hiself than any other three administrations combined... the whiles making out those who have EARNED their money as corrupt for spending it. I'd not care so much if he wasn't the biggesty spending president yet, and that just on his puffed up self. NO ONE in that office has ever spent so much of MY money on fluff. He's like a high school kid, just learned to drive, anad gots Daddy's credit card, no limit. Only the limit is how much we taxpayers have in OUR pockets that he hasn't got to yet.

The point was not that President Obama enjoys the trappings of the office. It's that he does it while deriding others for doing the same.

In his first term President Obama was criticized for trash-talking the one-percenters while enjoying the aristocracy of Martha's Vineyard and the nation's most exclusive golf courses.

Obama never quite squared his accusations that "millionaires and billionaires" had not paid their fair share with his own obvious enjoyment of the perks of "corporate jet owners," "fat cat bankers" and Las Vegas junketeers.
