The package was put together by a coalition of legislators including Republicans like Grimm and King. They now call it a Republican betrayal. Grimm said on Fox that he looked Boehner in the eye and was told that it woulld be voted on Tuesday but he was lied to.

And now, we (Republicans) will be perceived as childish thugs by millions of people ravaged by Sandy. It is like we want to look foolish, incompetant, and heartless. What is wrong with us?

Take a little time to see what the Senate Majority Leader can and can not do. The entire thing could have been 'put together' by Senate Repubs and the Reid could go through and 'put and take' what HE wanted, then called for a vote. The two branches of gov that is the most unuseful and corrupt are the 'Imperial Presidency and the Heathen Senate. The House are just slaggards.

It's been 66 days since Hurricane Sandy slammed into the East Coast, causing major damage in New York and New Jersey. The storm was so powerful, it is in the running to become the most expensive storm for taxpayers on record. Historically, Congress has passed hurricane relief bills in the immediate aftermath of storm damage, but Sandy is a different story. Why? Congress wrote up Hurricane Sandy Relief legislation and then Harry Reid's Senate loaded it with pork. What's in it? Many things that hardly count as relief for victims.

The pork-barrel feast includes more than $8...
