I was born in Englewood and grew up in Bergen County. The brother of the vice-principal of my high school was killed on PanAm 103. The son of one of my neighbors was killed in the World Trade Center on 9/11. Allowing the president of Libya to pitch a tent in Englewood--even if the Libyans own the property--is an outrage and a mockery of the loss of life in those terrorist attacks upon our country.

I salute my former Bergen County-ites for standing against this outrage. We do remember.
