Spot on. Romney held Obama to the fire for his failures, proved he was serious about deficit, entitlement, and Medicare reforms by choosing Paul Ryan, presented clear and comprehensive plans for the future, and, especially at the end, generated a lot of anti-Obama enthusiasm. And let's not forget that even though it wasn't enough to produce the desired outcome, Romney did expose the real Obama to the world in the debates. Exactly what would a different GOP candidate have done better? As I've said before, I don't think Reagan would have won in 2012, because at present there are simply too many government dependents and too few Americans who want less government and more liberty.

He did everything you say and more. I've never seen a candidate work harder. I've never seen a clearer choice. Never seen a man more suited to the moment and the task. And still, the chicago machine prevailed.
