An email to O"Reilly wasn't read? It must not have been pithy enough.

The 14th Amendment says "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, AND subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens..." (My emphasis on "AND".) Anyone who crosses our border illegally or overstays a visa has exempted THEMSELVES from the JURISDICTION of the laws of the United States and therefore their child does NOT qualify as a legitimate citizen. Congress needs to insist on this interpretation, the executive branch needs to enforce it and SCOTUS needs to agree, in that order. Although Congress was designed as the strongest of the three "equal" branches, they have long since abdicated their responsibilities, hence, presidents have gone wild with executive orders and judges are legislating from the bench. "All (not...

Those who want "To Crack Down On Media Personalities That Get Paid 'Too Much'" had better start with Oprah Winfrey. Let me know how that goes before they start in on the lesser million/billionaires.
Thanks, Mr. Tingly leg, Now I won't have to watch the actual interview of that wonderful All-American woman.
Sarah Palin should run for this position. The RNC Chair would give her the chance to shine. It's a bully pulpit and she would be a great fund raiser. Being in the public eye in a responsible position of prominence would also help to reduce the negatives that her detractors love to tout. She has time to sit out one or two election cycles.

The obamanation continues to lie. He talks about HIS plan, but HE has no plan.

As to the slip from 47 million "uninsured" to 30 million....... Okay, we've known that the illegal alien count has been above 12 mil for a long time. It's probably over 20 million by now, but it's good to find that our liar in chief finally agrees that it is at least 17 million.

A brilliant column as usual, Dr. Sowell!
Thank you Mr. Austin Hill for your column. It points out how blatantly B. Husein Obama is reaching beyond his legal authority. He has been getting away with a lot since taking office.

Federal law, 20 U.S.C. § 3403, which regards the Department of Education states, "No provision of a program administered by the Secretary or by any other officer of the Department shall be construed to authorize the Secretary or any such officer to exercise any direction, supervision, or control over the curriculum, program of instruction, administration, or personnel of any educational institution, school, or school system."

Maybe this is why the Constitution, in Amendment X states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the...

from Dr. Sowell. If Barry Sowetobama had sat at the knee of Thomas Sowell instead of Frank Marshal Davis, this would be a much brighter world.
