Now I'm really floored. This is an American tragedy. The Democrats aka Liberals ought be ashamed of themselves, starting with the big names, like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and how about the Kennedys?
As usual, John Hawkins expresses the obvious but with sharper focus than the rest of us conservatives do. When is this liberal mindset going to give up the "guilty trip for conservatives" rhetoric and see themselves as they really are: out-of-touch, self-righteous bigots? The future of our nation is at stake.

huntermoonsong -- Your argument is correct, I believe, until you say that the Tea Party and Republicans are lying and laughing. No, they've tried, but the consistently lying media and the power of the Office of the Presidency are an unstoppable power bloc. 'tis a shame!

Bruce -- This will never happen, because our "silly media" BELIEVE what they've been saying about Obama. Scary, yes?

Dream on, little dreamer, dream on...It seems to me that only Obama has the power to impeach himself. He's been a failure for six years now, never disguising his socialist orientation. We can only hope that HE chooses to ride out his remaining tenure and remain distracted from the true power of his job.

Jane Fonda, Sex Guru for Teenagers?

Mark5187 -- There were news photos of Jane Fonda sitting either on or close to a North Vietnamese weapon. I believe she did go up to North Vietnam during the Vietnam War and made clear her disloyalty to the United States. That's why she had to live out of our country for awhile. As a matter of fact, when I was a student at Rutgers-Newark, I walked right next to her as she was being welcomed like a (liberal) goddess. She's a radical, and they never change their stripes.

Alec Baldwin, Drama Queen

Hasn't Alec always be a boor, or is it a bore? I remember when he was married to the likeable and fun Kim Basinger. Thank goodness she got away before he did too much damage to her capricious psyche. No, let him stay in New York City, so he can eventually disappear into the common crowds.
For once in his two terms, I agree with our sitting President. This art history professor sounds ego-inflated. Blue collar jobs put food on the table. President Obama should not have felt obligated to respond to this academic snob. (I say this as a retired university adjunct professor.)
Yes, Americans have become very alienated from one another, and now I understand why, thanks to Hawkins. Americans are so consumed with celebrating their ethnic, political, religious differences, etc., that there's no chance or hope of, uniting as...Americans. What a difference from the tone of the 1950s through the 1980s.

Frog Man -- I share your sentiments about (Sagittarius) Ann Coulter, but maybe she was just showing loyalty to her party when she slobbered and gushed over Christie during his campaign. Ann is sharp as a tack and states her points directly, without concern for political correctness. The Republican Party sure needs her around!
What bull! Our public schools are getting out of control. Hey -- you leave your country and come to the USA -- you pledge your allegiance to Old Glory, the flag of the country who's taking care of you and your family. A day dedicated to the USA is enough...never mind saluting another country while you're living well in this one!
