Sociopaths who move among us disguised as pretty young mothers are interesting, and learning about them is instructive. In addition, Casey Anthony's case contained a lot of drama: murder, lies, outrageous behavior, accusations of incest, family dysfunction, mystery - things that human beings have always found interesting. There are people alive today who are as intelligent, inventive, creative, and moral as the Founding Fathers - and probably some percentage of them followed the Casey Anthony trial.

"Sex is supposed to be the privilege of married couples only." Good grief. Who died and made you the boss of everyone else's sexuality? Extramarital sex has always existed in every society known to man. You're going to lay down some rules and end all sexual strife, jealousy, STDs, and out-of-wedlock pregnancies? Even the Taliban hasn't been able to do that - and they stone people for straying. Further, responsible premarital sex is wonderful for many reasons, not the least of which is that it enables young people to delay marriage for a few years, until they are mature enough to pick a spouse they're statistically much more likely to stay happily married to for life. If the libertarians and the social conservatives cannot call a truce on social issues for the next few years, the divide will leave an opening for the Communists now running this country to continue their work dismantling of America and enslaving us to the state.

We are not going to resolve our differences on things like abortion or gay marriage in the next few years, and these years will determine whether we restore liberty or plummet into tyranny.

So for the next few years, all patriotic Americans must focus on restoring financial sanity, the fight against the jihadists, and the protection of our borders.

Once we have driven the Communists from office, we can resume our normally scheduled fight on social issues.
