Enough Pot Happy Talk

Tobacco does not alter the mind's ability to work properly or produce a high. That's the big difference. I was a smoker for years and never, ever thought about or considered using pot or drugs and have never used alcohol at all. Hate the stuff - including wine. Baloney to your theory.

The Anus Monologues

Enough of the quoting of scriptures and insults. The whole Duck thing boils down to a hatred of The Bible and what it says. It has rules that are not up for discussion. If one believes the Bible and openly professes their belief, then they are thrown off of television because they a deemed mean spirited and offensive - much like John the Baptist was. The rage is aimed at God from a people who like to make their own rules.

This was tried in 1860 - remember? Bloodiest war ever fought and on our own soil. Slavery was involved but also States Rights.

Common Core

I agree but of course, those in control (superintendents and in many cases state governments - Governors) cannot turn away from the lure of MILLIONS of dollars given to them from the Federal Government. As in, either you use Common Core or you don't get the money. It's the Federal money that our states are after because educating children has become a very expensive thing to do - again thanks to rules set forth by these same people.

"count around"???? We are talking about 4th graders here. Yes, the answer is simple to those who have a good math background.

So correct you are. Like sheep, teachers follow anything their masters command. They bought into the new math years ago. To teach phonics or not to teach phonics, and many years ago, they bought into the open concept school that had NO walls. That quickly failed with walls going up. Now they are to be facilitators - not teachers within Common Core. Let's call Common Core what it is - indoctrination centers for all American school children, with their parents completely cut out of the educational process.

The “Mommy Wars” Are Over

You obviously didn't live when most mothers stayed at home. Nothing even remotely resembling what you have described happened back then. Everyone's mother stayed at home except if they were teachers. Women were respected - unlike today.

The reason Mom has to work is todays families are spoiled rotten. From WWII until the early 70's, a first house was not a McMansion. They were small. Most times the family had only one car. Going out to eat, even for a hamburger, was a treat. A normal family had only one television. Kids took their lunch to school. But of course, that was before materialism was the god of the land and a logo on a shirt meant "this is somebody special". I grew up in a household as described after WWII and we were happy and innocent. Oh, and we all went to church not only to worship but to have fun.
Talk about a creepy little witch - this woman is trying to be Tina Faye, in the same mean spirited tone. and what race might this shrill be? Looks black but not really. MSNBC, the station with the teen boy who is really a girl - Maddow and this skinny little, not funny, smarta$$.
What in he heck are you even talking about? Do you know? Force you to assist them??? Smokers are paying mega bucks in taxes every time they buy a pack. They're paying for your schools, roads, etc. They're not asking you to pay for one thing. All the WWII women who are in their 90's living in assisted living today, smoked at one time or other or for years. Get off it. That's just a crock!
ONLY if it rising looking like cigarette smoke…
