I was born in NJ and moved to CA in 75. I still love NJ, and it was a great place to grow up when I did but I couldn't afford to live there now. Anyway, the point of my adding this at this date is 1)I've only learned about TOWNHALL.COM and Steve Jabob, kudos by the way and 2)the CAP AND TRADE BULL just passed by the House. Three NJ GOP SENATORS VOTED YAY along with some others and you Jerseyites should know about them!?!!?!?

Here in Las Vegas yesterday our Rep Congresswomen we out and about trying to convince us of the merits of this bill! BULL! Some simple points, although there are many; in the USA we produce 17% of the world's CO2. 'The Bill' calls for reducing emissions by 17% by 2020. Do the math that isn't even 3%. By that time the places were there are no regulations will have benefitted by more and more of our manufacturing going off shore, ie, China, etc., thus contributing a lot more than a mere 3% to the problem! Next retrofitting all public lighting, fixtures, bulbing, etc., when we're not even ready and finally, the added costs with mandatory conditional energy audits on home sales and fines and regulations and all the more government...
