Alas Libs, the dems and specifically the prez WANT complete control of the masses and bringing America down to its knees IS their agenda. OMG, how in the world was he even allowed in our White House in the first place.

Please, feel free to "disagree" with that one---it won't change things any more than if you decided to "disagree" with gravity because liberals believe in it.

Thank you, Carol---your lack of understanding, and the distraction it causes, will ensure that the GOP will continue to chase ghosts and fake issues and we'll see Democrats in the White House for years to come.

Bruce....NO he stole the election by Mega voter fraud

I would 'disagree' with that one.

He was "allowed" in the way the Constitution specifies---he won the election.

Well, this move by Speaker Boehner doesn't exactly follow my Simpson-Bowles playbook to a tee -- but Erskine Bowles does make an appearance, and Republicans are going on (realistic, reasonable) offense.  In a new letter addressed to the president, House Republican leaders firmly reject the president's non-starter "proposal," pointedly decline to counter with an equally unrealistic wish list, and offer an alternative bipartisan solution:
