Two more ideas for your platform Mike - My friend's overnight hospital stay cost $18,000 this week (just for the hospital charge). It's time to eliminate third party payers of health care. If each person pays for their own health care themselves, then they will watch what they pay. For those needing asssitance, I say give them a resonable voucher and let them keep whatever they don't spend. all of sudden their need for doctor visits will drop and their questioning of egregious charges will rise. Also, institute a "loser pays" system so lawyers will be less likely to file frivilous law suits.
