It's back to the old days - buying unregistered handguns, and saying you bought one to help out some homeless guy selling it to buy food for his children - "but my intention was good!"

Former criminals have one thing to say about the Journal News posting a detailed map of gun owners in New York State: criminals are thanking you for the help.
