I suspect that they pretend to be Republicans or potential GOP voters in an effort to pull the GOP to the left on social issues, without ever having any intention of voting for a Republican. The right libertarians are left-over "nineteenth century liberals" and generally pretty good people. I did notice that once the Primary ended, the majority of "Libertarians" posting here simply vanished ... reappearing the following day as themselves, Soros plants.

I realize it is madening to discuss politics with liberals, but you have to keep trying. Most liberals think that way due to ignorance of the truth because they have been brain washed by the MSM. Once you point out the fallacies of the matrix, they may come around.

I emphasize that I am talking here about the "left libertarians."

More like Lobbyists than Libertarians.

I often wonder who is pushing the money behind the scenes.

Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. A terrorist attack is not the same as the Cold War, a war in Afghanistan is not the same as a war in Iraq, and Mitt Romney is not the same as John McCain or Bob Dole.
